(2 hours a week)
Trainees have access to a trained mentor for a dedicated one hour per week mentor session - in each of the Base and Complementary schools
Autumn term
The equivalent of 4 days per week in the Base School
Spring term

Summer Term

PGCE trainees experience two schools, with the Base school [usually an Upper School] identified before beginning the course. The second will be a Middle school. This placement pattern will provide trainees with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their competence in teaching and learning at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 - with the additional opportunity to gain experience at Key Stage 5.
